Pope Tweets

On Monday the Vatican announced that the Pope would be joining the ranks of over 500 million Twitter users.  @Pontifex will be the handle used by the leader of the Catholic Church.  Although the Pope (who still corresponds using pen and paper) does not own a smart phone or iPad, according to the Vatican spokesman, will be sending the first tweet on December 12th.  Subsequent tweets will be Pope approved but sent by his communications team. Tweets will be sent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, German, Polish and Arabic.  At the time of this post, the Pope has 488,404 followers.

Now, with the Pope having his own twitter account, my question is, when will Dennis Perry catch up with the Pope?
