Stop His Heresy
Yesterday I had a chance to sit down and chat with Morgan and Jason for our first Crackers and Grape Juice episode that isn't featuring a superstar guest. The best part of that was that we were laid back, relaxed, and not really worried about messing up.
Believe it or not, when you're interviewing Brian Zahnd or NT Wright, it can be kind of nerve-wracking.
Since I am the only person in the C&GJ crew that can operate a computer it always falls to me for audio editing post-production. That's the reason why I thought it would be a good idea to do a "live" recording where everything was done in one take. For our first time, I think we did a great job.
In case you aren't on Facebook, did you know Morgan is on a book tour? Jason and I turned the tables on Morgan, getting the skinny on How Jesus Saves the World from Us: 12 Antidotes to Toxic Christianity. This book led "Evangelism" genre on Amazon for quite some time in pre-sales and even after the book became available last month. Morgan is kicking off his nationwide book tour, which coincidently ends with a visit to the General Conference of the United Methodist Church. I will apologize a head of time for Jason & Morgan's man crush session. Don't worry, it was just as awkward for me as it might be for you.
In you haven't subscribed to the podcast you can do so on iTunes. Take a second and leave us some feedback. Let us know what you loved, what we can do better, or just how awesome we are. Also, be sure to check out Clay Mottley, who was kind enough to let us use some of his music for our opening and closing of each episode.
